[trivia] For a good seal

I can't get the seal to print properly."
This is probably a more common problem than you might think.
If the seal is not properly stamped, it may be rejected for official documents.
The more formal the document, the more accurately it must be stamped and sealed.
Then, how can we seal cleanly?
From here, I will explain the points you should be careful about when pressing a seal.
1. The correct way to hold the seal.
First, place your index finger directly above the letter.
Next, pinch both sides of the stamp between the belly of your thumb and the side of your middle finger. Then, support the non-pressing side of the stamp against the belly of your hand, and that is the correct way to hold it.
2. The correct way to press the stamp.
Make sure that the force is applied evenly toward the circumference of the stamp with the center as the axis. Next, you can successfully press the stamp by holding the paper with your hand and gently pulling the stamp straight up.
3. How to apply vermilion ink
It is also important to adjust the amount of vermilion ink appropriately to make a clean mark.
Neither too much nor too little red ink is good. Press lightly on the surface of the red ink three or four times to make sure that the red ink is evenly distributed on the surface of the mark. Before the actual printing, test how much force and how many times you need to press the red ink to clean it up, to reduce the possibility of failure.
Another effective way is to use high-quality red ink pads. Be careful not to use old ones that have deteriorated, as they may not adhere cleanly and may cause poor coloration.
Once you have reached this point, the rest is a simple pressing process. To make a clean mark, do so on a flat surface.
If you do this on a desk or other surface, it may not be flat due to scratches or dirt. In such cases, place a special mat for hanko underneath.
lastly,
Regular maintenance is also important for stamps. It is also important to keep the surface of the stamp clean in order to always mark it neatly.
If a stamp is left with red ink on it after it has been stamped without being cleaned, it will deteriorate, so we recommend that you wipe it off with a tissue or something similar before putting it away.
